ICYMI: New Poll Showing IN-05 Race Tied

Carmel, IN – This morning the House Majority PAC released new polling that shows Indiana’s 5th Congressional District tied heading into the final weeks of the race. This release follows a new ranking from Sabato’s Crystal Ball yesterday moving the IN-05 race in J.D. Ford’s favor. Additionally, top nonpartisan election forecasters including Cook Political Report, Inside Elections and Fox News have all recently moved the race in Ford’s favor.
“With just under two weeks until Election Day, our campaign continues to surge,” said J.D. Ford. “Hoosiers in the 5th District are ready for someone who will actually fight for them in Congress. They’re tired of paying more for everyday essentials, they’re worried about losing their healthcare and they’re hurting while their current representative, Victoria Spartz, gets rich from her seat in Congress. I will always fight for our friends and neighbors. We continue to feel motivated by the enthusiasm and turnout we’ve seen since early early voting began earlier this month, and we’ll build on that momentum every day until the polls close.”

About J.D.: J.D. Ford is running for Congress in Indiana's 5th Congressional District. He grew up in a working-class family as the son of a union truck driver and an assisted living administrator, with grandparents who served as local officials. J.D. learned early that public service is about people, not power. He served two terms in the Indiana State Senate, where he fought to lower the cost of lifesaving medication, strengthen public education, and ensure every Hoosier gets a fair shot. He's running to bring a working-class perspective to Washington and make life more affordable for every Hoosier.
