Carmel, IN - J.D. Ford’s campaign today released a new ad as part of a six-figure buy on broadcast TV, cable and streaming, exposing Victoria Spartz’s corruption and self-dealing. The ad spells out the various ways she has benefited from her position in Congress and sided with her corporate donors at the expense of Hoosier families.

“Congresswoman Spartz has spent her time in Congress working for big corporations, enriching herself while voting against Hoosiers,” said Ford. “She has benefited from around $5.9 million in stock trades since becoming a Congresswoman, received donations from utility and insurance companies, used the money to pay taxes for her family’s investment property, then cut off health care for 650,000 Hoosiers. People in the 5th district deserve to know that Victoria Spartz sides with her donors and makes money in her position as a U.S. Representative, while making life harder for Hoosiers.”

About J.D.: J.D. Ford is running for Congress in Indiana's 5th Congressional District. He grew up in a working-class family as the son of a union truck driver and an assisted living administrator, with grandparents who served as local officials. J.D. learned early that public service is about people, not power. He served two terms in the Indiana State Senate, where he fought to lower the cost of lifesaving medication, strengthen public education, and ensure every Hoosier gets a fair shot. He's running to bring a working-class perspective to Washington and make life more affordable for every Hoosier.
